Hi, we're FuturLab!
We are an award-winning video game studio based in Brighton, UK. We believe that happy, healthy teams make great games, so we take a people-first, no-crunch approach to development.
We’re best known for our critically acclaimed Velocity series and, of course, our super-soothing hit PowerWash Simulator, which has set us on a path of pioneering games designed to soothe and satisfy.
20+ Years of Inventive Fun
We’ve been creating unique gaming experiences since 2003. From humble beginnings creating flash games as a two-person outfit to the over 100-strong team we have today, we’ve grown alongside the industry and are proud to be a part of the UK’s gaming heritage.

We are moved to have been recognised in the gaming community and industry for our people, studio and games. We’re honoured to have been finalists in The Golden Joysticks, The Steam Awards and Develop:Star and have won awards from TIGA, Ukie, the Spawnies and MCV/DEVELOP - Including Best Indie Studio for both 2023 and 2024, and Best Casual Game for PowerWash Simulator.
Remote-First
Our studio in Brighton remains the beating heart of FuturLab, however, in 2020 we made the shift to become a remote-first studio. This empowers us to work with talent across the UK to deliver the best games possible, whilst allowing our team to work comfortably and flexibly in their own spaces.
