Last night, our FuturLab gnomes travelled to London for a night of glitz and glam at this year’s MCV/Develop Awards. We announced in April that we were delighted to be nominated for two awards this year, Indie Studio of the Year and Ongoing Innovation for PowerWash Simulator.
After an evening of fine dining and fun, we eagerly awaited the awards ceremony and were blown away when FuturLab was announced as the winner of the Indie Studio of the Year category!
This is the second consecutive year we have received this award and we are over the moon. This accolade encompasses all our efforts to make FuturLab a great place to work and shows that even as we grow and change as a company, we're still going in the right direction!
As a remote-first studio, awards shows like this are a great opportunity for our employees to get together and celebrate with one another. The next time we do will be our very own summer festival: FuturFest where the whole company will get together with their families for a weekend of fun in the sun. This award win is a great way to kickstart a summer of celebration for the company!
