Last week, our team took part in For One Night Only, the first UK-only games industry showcase created by Ukie to celebrate and spotlight games developed by British studios. The showcase was streamed live on Twitch last night, and if you missed it, you can catch up here.
On the show floor, members of the FuturLab team were on hand to talk about the recently released STAR WARS Pack for PowerWash Simulator 2, and give attendees an exclusive hands-on preview of the next free Caldera Chronicles job: the Bouncy Castle. Alongside the playable demo and our real-life bouncy castle, content creator @TheTechnoLocker created live artwork in PowerWash Simulator 2. His incredible recreation of the Thinking Man statue was also featured during the livestream.
As part of the showcase, our CEO Kirsty Rigden was joined by content creator Elz to discuss PowerWash Simulator and how games can support wellbeing by providing a calming and restorative escape from stress. During the stream, we also announced that all proceeds from PowerWash Simulator 2 base-game sales on Steam today will be donated to Oscar's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity.
