We’re delighted to share some incredible news: PowerWash Simulator 2 has been longlisted in two categories for the BAFTA Video Game Awards 2026! Our game is up for Best Family Game and Best British Game in these prestigious awards.
Being recognised among more than 250 outstanding titles is an honour that means so much to everyone here at FuturLab. Our team has poured passion, creativity, and innovation into this sudsy sequel, and seeing it acknowledged by BAFTA and the wider industry is an amazing milestone in this game’s journey.
As part of our PowerWash Simulator 2 company launch party, we looked back on the journey of the game’s development with this fun wrap up video, and now we’d like to share it with you all! We hope you enjoy a bit of an insight into the road from May 2023 when we first began working on the game, to launch in October 2025.
This BAFTA longlisting means a great deal to all of us at FuturLab. It’s a reminder of what a dedicated team can achieve when they pour their hearts into a project. We’ve worked hard to ensure this sequel builds meaningfully on what we started with PowerWash Simulator, and it’s truly heartwarming to see it recognised as both a family-friendly game and a celebration of British creativity. We feel honoured to be included alongside so many talented creators, and we’re deeply grateful to our players for supporting us every step of the way.
