Game Dev Heroes celebrates the people behind the scenes of the games industry whose contributions are pivotal in creating the games we all know and love. Nominated by people in the games industry, Game Dev Heroes is a really wholesome opportunity to champion colleagues and industry connections who have done incredible work.

We’re delighted to say that three people from our lovely FuturLab team are finalists in this year’s Game Dev Heroes awards! Our finalists include Sofia Emmanouilidou (Principal QA Tester), Jess Green (Marketing Manager), Santa Dimante (Customer Support Manager) and our Community Manager, Jonny Lee, received an honourable mention in the Community category.
Our games wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of our whole team and we’re so grateful to see Sofia, Jess and Santa nominated for their amazing talent in QA, Marketing and Community, respectively.

“Hearing that I’m shortlisted for the Marketing award absolutely made my day. The fact that someone thinks enough of me to put me forward, and took their own time to write the nomination means the absolute world to me - thank you so much whoever you are!”
- Jess Green
“It is a great honour to be nominated for a Game Dev Hero award, and I feel grateful to the people that decided to take their time and write up a nomination for me. Even though there was a time many many years ago that I did this all by myself, nowadays the QA work is the result of a team effort, and I definitely share this nomination with the QA team.”
- Sofia Emmanouilidou
“Good support operations are rarely on anyone's radar, which can make the work feel invisible at times... especially when things are going well. But as the face and voice of the studio, support is highly visible to our players. Their perception of the company can be shaped by a single interaction, whether positive or negative. I know support operations matter a lot to our community so it’s an honour to be nominated for this award."
- Santa Dimante
