The time has come to reach our final destination for PowerWash Simulator, and what a journey it has been! PowerWash Simulator released into early access in 2021 with 16 jobs, and now 4 years later we have hit 100 jobs and a satisfying 15,000 DINGs! From a Pineapple Under The Sea (Aye, aye, Captain!), to Seventh Heaven and everywhere in between, The Washer has cleaned up some fantastic locations and made beautiful memories.
Whether you’ve been busting the grime with us from early access, or hopped aboard the PowerWash hype train somewhere down the line, we’d love to say a huge thank you for enjoying this adventure with us.
The Muckingham Files has taken us to Mauka Aitu Desert, with stops at a sunny villa, a quick cleaning trip to the Crab Baay Aquarium, with paint ball along the way. For our last content drop we will be hopping on the Muckingham Line to clean up the train before departing for a trip to the Sculpture Park.
Sculpture Park:
Soak up the culture while you soak off the dirt at the local Sculpture Park. Take it all in, become one with each piece. What does it inspire? A quiet respite to cleanse your mind, or a creative space to make your canvas? There are no wrong answers here, only art… and filth! Chisel off layers of crud and carve out some clean lines from some monumentally mucky installations, while receiving the guided tour from acclaimed sculptor, Darcy d’Arcy.
Subway:
Next stop – the subway! Muckingham’s residents have had their travel plans de-railed following a dirt-fuelled defacement. Get the subway system back on track by power washing the carriages to perfection – inside and out! This is one time you’ll not want to skip the ads, as the posters inside the subway train provide a glimpse at what lies ahead on PowerWash Simulator’s journey…
PowerWash Simulator has truly transformed FuturLab - it's helped us grow our team, evolve as a studio, and take on exciting new challenges. We’re endlessly grateful to every single player who’s supported our satisfying, sudsy adventure. You’ve made all of this possible.
And we’re not done yet! PowerWash Simulator 2 is bubbling away and will release later in 2025. With a bunch of brilliant new gnomes joining the FuturLab family, we’ve been able to level up the experience with fresh new and improved ways to play and spray in the sequel. We can’t wait to show you what’s next!

- Fixed the toy train sounds being affected by music settings in the Dining Room & Kitchen job.
- Fixed a scenario in Wallace & Gromit’s Dining Room & Kitchen where players could get stuck behind a step stool’s default position.
- Fixed an issue involving save file sizes on PS5.
- Fixed an issue where the lower part of Wallace & Gromit’s House was invisible when standing in a specific location.
- Fixed an issue on Switch involving water stream changing colour in Aim Mode in certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue in Shrek jobs where surface targeted was not aligned in 3rd person view.
- Improvements made to players being able to get stuck inside the information board in the Duloc job.
- Fixed a scenario on Xbox where the title could crash when pressing the Back button during the credits.
- Fixed an issue involving equipment placement spots being visible during timelapses.
- Fixed an issue on Sony platforms where certain SFX were still audible after reducing Master Volume to zero.
- Fixed lighting inconsistencies in the kennel in the Wallace & Gromit DLC.
- Fixed flicking assets inside the kennel in the Wallace & Gromit DLC.
- Various other localisation improvements and minor bug fixes.
