3 Million Players have Experienced our Super-Soothing Sim: PowerWash Simulator

Muckingham’s power washing market is booming – from plucky sole traders to six-strong cleaning crews, we’ve heard reports that the streets are cleaner than ever. In fact, 3 million (and counting) of you have been power washing the unique vehicles, buildings and beauty spots of PowerWash Simulator.

Less than two months has passed since we officially launched PowerWash Simulator in July, and we continue to be humbled by the amazing community reaction to our ultra-relaxing cleaning sim.

James Marsden, Founder and Co-CEO at FuturLab said:

“Reaching 3 million players with our self-soothing sim is an amazing milestone, and we have so many exciting things planned to expand the game, I can’t help but think this is just the beginning.”

With so many of you picking up the powerwasher and blasting Muckingham to a sparkling finish, it’s starting to look a little too clean for our liking…👀

In other exciting news, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Stone to non-executive chairman onto FuturLab’s board. Tom’s gaming industry experience spans over 30 years, having worked with EA to build FIFA Soccer, going onto start Giant Interactive Entertainment to create the LEGO Star Wars video game, before co-creating TT Games that went on to build the successful LEGO games franchise.

“When James and Kirsty pitched PowerWash Simulator to me, I knew this was a project I wanted to engage with. I love their creative energy and clear vision for this game and the future of the business. The Development and Marketing teams at Futurlab have done a wonderful job of executing on that vision which has made PowerWash Simulator the great success it is today. I’m thrilled to be working with FuturLab and the new and exciting projects in the pipeline.”

Tom Stone, Chairman at FuturLab

Co-CEO Kirsty Rigden added:

“We’re so excited and honoured to have Tom Stone join FuturLab as chairman. We first met Tom 10 years ago, when we were matched with him on a Nesta Mentorship scheme. It’s humbling to know that he’s believed in us and championed us from the side-lines all this time, so we are delighted to finally be able to bring him onboard in a more official capacity. Tom continues to encourage us to believe in ourselves and helps us to realise our vision. We’re very excited to see where this new official partnership takes FuturLab.”

With all that exciting news out of the way, all that’s left to say is:

thank you x 3 million from all of us here at FuturLab 🙂
