We’re FuturLab, an award-winning studio with a passion for creating games to unwind with. As we take the exciting step into self-publishing, we’re looking for a Head of Production to guide our teams through this next adventure.

About the role

As Head of Production, you will work with multidisciplinary internal and external teams to deliver multi-format releases of games, DLC and features. You will be responsible for creating collaboration at all levels and be accountable for end-to-end delivery in a self-publishing studio.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll empower teams, keep projects moving smoothly, and shape production processes that support creativity and wellbeing.

What you’ll do:

  • Champion the goals of each project, ensuring every release shines with quality and vision.
  • Lead the production process across multiple projects, from planning and scoping to launch and beyond, working closely with your production team and discipline directors.
  • Keep schedules, budgets, and resources balanced, adapting plans as priorities evolve.
  • Foster clear communication and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Build workflows that make collaboration natural and enjoyable.
  • Spot potential risks early and help the team navigate around them with calm, creative problem-solving.
  • Mentor and support your production team, helping them grow their skills and confidence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a medium to large production team in a multi-project studio.
  • Shipped at least one self-published title.
  • Shipped on PC and console.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams (bonus if remote-first!).
  • Deep understanding of project management practices and game development pipelines.
  • A collaborative mindset — you love solving problems with people, not just for them.
  • A genuine passion for games and the people who make them.

Nice to have:

  • Experience leading remote or hybrid teams.
  • Familiarity with working on global IPs.
