We've teamed up with London based full service agency Creative Tank to produce games and interactives!
Our first game together required some lovable animation, addictive gameplay and catchy bespoke music for a fun and challenging game, promoting a rebrand for Creative Tank' client Alpha Magazine.
You can play the game online at Alpha's MoneyBags.
The work by the FuturLab team has been fantastic. An excellent team to work with producing great results.

Tucked away in Brighton's North Laines, Mindorchard are working a supplier's revolution in the entertainment industry by sidestepping established London agencies and bringing international projects direct to our local talent. Working mostly with freelancers, Mindorchard seek to work only with the best producers and artists around.
Our platform game engine and team spirit recently got their attention, resulting in a task to rebuild the international Superman Returns flash website to support the new film from Warner Bros.
You can see the finished result online at the Official Superman Returns website.
Working with you on a high profile project such as Superman with such tight deadlines was a risk I'm glad I made. I have not worked on a project with as little pain/drama as this one; given the circumstances this represents a tiny miracle from our perspective.
You're a pleasure to work with. FuturLab is a well oiled team that works seamlessly together.

Psychology Press is part of Informa plc, the leading provider of specialist information to the global academic & scientific, professional and commercial communities via publishing, events and performance improvement.
Specialising in the behavioural sciences Psychology Press publishes textbooks with accompanying multimedia, eLearning materials, academic books, ebooks, journals, and tests.
A recent major project has been the development of A-Level Psychology Online, a web-based eLearning resource for A-Level Psychology students and teachers.
FuturLab were approached to create some fun animations and exercises to support several chapters of their online learning material. We developed a set of characters and interactive exercises for use across different chapters, and several specific animations to convey in simple terms some of the more challenging concepts found in the A-Level psychology curriculum.
See one of the first animations for the Theories Of Sleep Chapter.
Futurlab were a pleasure to work with from start to finish; well organised, creative, and efficient. I was impressed that they took time to really understand the project and this shows in the high standard of their work. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Illustra have become an international leader in producing interactive simulations for sales training. Their simulations are translated into over 20 languages, and therefore require flexible content management coupled with engaging presentation.
Illustra have consistently returned to FuturLab for our ability to combine creative flair and technical rigour.
We continue to work on challenging projects with Illustra, pushing the expected limits of user interface design and interaction on many of their projects.
Futurlab has delivered consistently against tough requirements. The company is one of very few who can combine engaging content with exciting presentation, in industrial-strength computer applications.
I have worked with Futurlab on three major projects over the course of a year - each successful - and feel that there is still a lot more potential to come.
I can't praise their work, and equally importantly their work ethic, highly enough.

With over 20 years experience in creating English language study materials for foreign students, Epax required an engaging rich media interface to deliver its varied syllabus of tutorials and exercises.
By adopting a strict Object Oriented approach, we built a solid architecture for enabling rapid development of future modules in the syllabus. We also focused on maximising the appeal of the programme in such a competitive market, by making full use of the new drawing effects available in the latest release of Flash. This afforded us great visual flexibility when creating the game-based exercises; testing a user's knowledge of each subject.
The project also required our team to design a custom audio streaming engine to synchronise animation with narrated instruction. The result of which is an engaging and well structured contemporary alternative to classroom based learning.
Epax needed an innovative, functional and stylish e-learning site to showcase the course syllabus. FuturLab listened closely, helped to develop the programme and delivered the project within a very short timescale; a safe pair of hands in an industry that can be intimidating.
We will use them in future, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

The Brighton ^Digital Festival aims to support and promote the city's success as a leader of digital content production in the UK, and also as a hub for creative talent and technical achievement. The festival approached FuturLab to develop an identity that would reflect the motivations and interests of the people responsible for the success; the creatively gifted and the technically excellent.
In response to this great challenge, we paid careful attention to the shifting trends in our industry, our culture and the arts. We discovered something interesting when comparing two ends of the digital spectrum - The digital fine arts at one end, and the design and development industry at the other.
One of the most exciting areas of digital arts is the generative movement. Artists working in this field are writing code to generate artworks that evolve and respond to outside influence. At this end of the spectrum, the code used is a contemporary aesthetic just as thick oil paint straight from a tube once was.
This celebration of code is a growing trend. As more young people master digital technologies, the perception of code and the people who use it is slowly changing from Geek to Chic.
At the other end, the design and development industry is making every effort to streamline a user's experience by protecting them from ever needing to understand, or even see a piece of code.
Striving to protect a user from a complicated experience at one end, and celebrating source code at the other are two opposite forces. We believe it is important for the festival brand to accomodate this dynamic to successfully represent both ends of the spectrum (and everything in between).
The result is a strict Standards Compliant website, aligned with the interests of the design and development industry here in Brighton, with a design that pays homage to the aesthetic of the digital technology that makes it all possible.
FuturLab understood our needs for the festival brand and website, and kept us involved at every step of the design process. Their creative thinking has impressed us all, with the final design a perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality.

Snow Business are the leading supplier of winter special effects to the Film, Television and Entertainment industries. They wanted a complete redesign that would convey a magical atmosphere without compromising ease of use and loading times.
We developed a strict standards compliant design for use in all browsers and operating systems, a factor they decided was essential due to their international presence.
For the atmospheric touch, our 3D design team modeled some of the world's most famous landmarks, and dressed them in snow. An effect reminiscent of the recent blockbuster The Day After Tomorrow; a film which owes many of its dazzlingly authentic special effects to the crew at Snow Business.
We are delighted with the solution that FuturLab have provided us. Right from the initial meeting they displayed a good understanding of the necessary look and feel we hoped for. It has been a pleasure to watch the implementation come to fruition.
Corporate identity and web presence are so important in our industry, as is the ability to effortlessly find information.
FuturLab have provided a website which fulfills these things, and with the impressive hosting performance they've been able to demonstrate, it looks like we'll be moving our site to their hosting service too!

Wag the Dog needed a presentation with something extra to back the launch of their new product, pitching to commercial giants such as Coca Cola, McDonalds and FIFA.
We gave them more than they bargained for by creating a short 3D animated film, dynamically branded for each organisation's viewing experience.
Utilising the latest technologies for Rich Media content, we squeezed a mammoth project into four short weeks of intensive creativity and top notch technical efficiency.
You can ask no more from a supplier than to meet the brief.
FuturLab went willingly beyond what we asked for, and ensured the project was delivered on time and within budget.
The result for my Company has been a new communication medium that has reached and resulted in business from some of the world's largest organisations.
Their attention to detail, technical expertise, constant communication and most of all their diligence has been first rate and will reward them well in such a competitive arena.
I hope that they keep their energy, new thinking and "raw-ness" as it sets them apart and guarantees you will receive first class products and service.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending FuturLab, and will undoubtedly commission them again in the very near future.
