Director and Lead Designer/Developer
James graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Fine Art and Digital Media, and went on to study an MSc in Computer Science.
Fuelled by a healthy obsession with all things technological, James founded FuturLab with Andy and Ben, and has focused on training the team to be the most flexible and reliable source of Flash development in Brighton.
James is focused on pushing FuturLab along a unique path in the industry; using Flash to create large scale immersive games and environments.
With a keen interest in Music, James is also exploring the potential of generative software such as SuperCollider.

Jade
Producer
Jade is the glue that binds our team together. With an innate ability to understand what the client wants, combined with exceptional capacity for abstract thought, Jade makes complex projects run smoothly with sound planning and thorough specification.
She also manages to keep us all on track each day. This might be because we're all scared of her despite her attractive persona.
Jade plays way too much Guitar Hero (and manages to convince clients to play it too), reads about 5 books a week, and even finds time to make kick ass chocolate brownies. Try asking for The Recipe...
Ben
Financial Director, Web Applications Developer and I.T. Specialist
Ben and James have been friends for over 20 years, and have a well balanced and often colourful dynamic between the poles of creative and financial decision making.
Ben has been project development manager on our commercial web application; Synergy, a Billing System for the Telecoms reseller market.
With over 8 years experience in supporting and building Telecoms Billing systems, Ben is now training more developers as Synergy enters the final stages of development.

Andy
Standards Compliant Design and Flash Development
Andy and James studied together at University, and found a common ground for creating innovative work together.
Since moving to Brighton, Andy quickly became adept with Standards Compliant Design practice, earning FuturLab three award shortlistings including those for Accessibility and Search Engine Friendly Design.
Andy is now busy developing Flash applications for our growing client base; combining his capacity for lateral thought and understanding of usability to ensure clients keep coming back.

Dan
Sound Design Specialist and Flash Developer
Yet another Fine Art graduate, Dan left University and concentrated on Music Production and scoring Independent Films, the likes of which have been screened in Manchester, New York and Tokyo. His sound design has featured in all of our projects requiring Audio, and is now focused on extending our rich media portfolio as a dedicated Flash Developer.
Dan was involved heavily in the concept design and development of Prism, not to mention supplying more than half the soundtrack and sound design! Now Dan is immersed in Flash development for a multitude of clients, and finding whatever time there is for our own Flash site relaunch... next year... sometime.
